Future is in providing flexible office space next to living zones
Founder of Regus, one of the global leaders in providing flexible office space, came up with an interesting idea (see the article). It seems that companies are starting to slowly follow new habits of their employees created during Covid. Most of employees use to saving time for everyday commuting to work by spending much more time in their local living zones. At the same time, it becomes apparent that permanent home office concept is not sustainable. This new concept might be a potential compromise. An employee would be working in a business environment with an access to all facilities and infrastructure next to its living zone, an employer would gain additional flexibility and some cost saving while the overall community benefits from less traffic and reduced pollution. This stands specifically for the big cities with the developed suburban areas. We were wondering if similar concept can be applied on the outskirts of Belgrade.
